Who We Are

The Courage Campaign is on a mission to revolutionize the student experience using movement, journaling, and critical conversations to unlock self-limiting beliefs, enable agency, and accelerate the closure of the opportunity gap in education.

Originally conceived as a 12-week coaching program for adults, The Courage Campaign underwent a transformative evolution upon recognizing the scarcity of wellness opportunities tailored to school-aged students.

Acknowledging the profound impact of wellness practices like movement, breathwork, and SEL on nervous system regulation and overall health outcomes, a crucial need emerged.

Within the backdrop of Boston's renowned racial and economic inequity, characterized by an absence of brain breaks, inconsistent PE, and sporadic recess, Ashley and Mark discerned a pivotal moment.

They shifted the focus of TCC, placing K-12 students at the core of their mission.

Understanding that students are part of interconnected communities (family, teachers, administrators, and neighborhoods), The Courage Campaign expanded its vision to encompass holistic support systems, aiming to foster present and generational health outcomes.

Thus, our journey embodies a commitment to nurturing wellness within educational environments and beyond, catalyzing positive change for generations to come.
